Softball Recap: Hobart Brickies vs. Merrillville Pirates
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hobart). Everything went their way against the Merrillville Pirates on Monday as they made off with a 21-3 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Brickies with their most commanding win of the season.

Hobart got a great performance from Allie Snider as she tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave Snider a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
At the plate, Addi Gaffin was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. What's more, she posted three runs, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
