Basketball Recap: CenterPoint Christian Academy Takes a Loss

CenterPoint Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Caseville Eagles.

Despite the loss, CenterPoint Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Jeremy Boillat, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 boards. With that strong performance, Boillat is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. Grayson Turvey was another key player, going 7 for 10 en route to 14 points.

CenterPoint Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Caseville, they moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

CenterPoint Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-56 win against Beth Haven Baptist Academy on the 14th. As for Caseville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 40-38 defeat against Carsonville-Port Sanilac on the 15th.
