Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Stockton). They breezed by the Pecos Eagles to the tune of 84-29 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Fort Stockton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Evan Cordero out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Cordero a new career-high in steals (six). Aundre Washington was another key player, going 8 for 14 on his way to 18 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Fort Stockton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Fort Stockton's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Pecos, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
