            Volleyball Recap: Murray County Indians vs. Rome Wolves        
        
		
        
        
            Murray County was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rome Wolves. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing  2-1 to the Wolves when the teams met back in August of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Murray County's offense was headlined by  Kaydence Moses and  Katherine Stone, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Jordyn Farmer and  Josie Jones, who contributed five assists each. Farmer and  Jones didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.
Murray County now  has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rome, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-6.
 Murray County has already played their next contest,  a  2-1  win against Heard County on the 14th. As for Rome, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  loss against Heritage on the 14th.
