Soccer Recap: McNeil Comes Up Short

McNeil was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Ridge Raiders. The game was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but the Mavericks couldn't quite close it out.

Qiana Romero and Ally Weir scored both of McNeil's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

McNeil's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-2. As for Cedar Ridge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7-2.

Coincidentally, McNeil and Cedar Ridge will both be playing Manor the next time they take the pitch. McNeil will head out to face Manor at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cedar Ridge will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
