Volleyball Recap: Southlake Carroll Wins Going Away Against Timber Creek

Southlake Carroll won the last time they faced Timber Creek and things went their way on Friday too. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

Southlake Carroll walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-16.

Southlake Carroll can attribute much of their success to Lauren St.Charles, who had 17 digs and one assist. That's the most digs St.Charles has posted over her last eight games. Mariel Elizondo was another key player, getting 16 assists and two aces.

Timber Creek lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Addison Wilcox, who had 15 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Southlake Carroll's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Timber Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.
