Booker T. Washington came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 61-56 W against the North Miami Pioneers. While the Tornadoes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Booker T. Washington was led to victory by Robert Carr and Frizzy Catilus. Carr posted 22 points, while Catilus scored 16 points. Cordai Mobley was another key player, putting up seven points.
