Soccer Recap: Woodlawn-B.R. Comes Up Short

If Woodlawn-B.R. was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Central last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers fell just short of the Ursuline Academy Lions by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.

Woodlawn-B.R.'s loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ursuline Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Woodlawn-B.R. challenge the Walker at 4:30 p.m. on December 18th. Ursuline Academy has already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Morris Jeff on the 10th.
