Volleyball Game Preview: D'Evelyn Jaguars vs. Vista PEAK Prep Bison

The D'Evelyn Jaguars will square off against the Vista PEAK Prep Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. D'Evelyn will be strutting in after a win while Vista PEAK Prep will be coming in after a loss.

D'Evelyn took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Aurora West College Prep Academy 3-0. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

D'Evelyn was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-18, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Vista PEAK Prep suffered their biggest defeat since March 25th on Wednesday. They came up short against Denver East, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Denver East scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-19.

D'Evelyn pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8.
