Volleyball Recap: Boone Grove Wolves vs. Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos

Boone Grove faced Lafayette Jefferson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wolves had just enough and edged out the Bronchos 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Boone Grove had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-18, 15-5.

Maison Coates paced Boone Grove's offense, picking up seven kills. Coates got some help from Pauly McCoy and his 12 assists. McCoy also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Ryder McCoy, racking up two apiece.
