Basketball Recap: Sam Leonetti's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Harvest Temple Christian Academy over Put-In-Bay

Harvest Temple Christian Academy fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Put-in-Bay on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Put-in-Bay Panthers. Harvest Temple Christian Academy was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Put-in-Bay earlier this season, when they won 48-42.

Several Harvest Temple Christian Academy players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sam Leonetti, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 21 rebounds. Harvest Temple Christian Academy is 3-1 when Leonetti posts eight or more boards, but 6-8 otherwise. Lucas Weirich was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
