Recap: Windsor Locks Raiders vs. East Granby Crusaders
The Windsor Locks Raiders won the last time they faced the East Granby Crusaders, and things went their way on Monday too. Windsor Locks came out on top against East Granby by a score of 55-48.
Windsor Locks' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maeve McGinnis led the charge by scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds. McGinnis has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shayla Gamache, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Windsor Locks' win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for East Granby, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
Windsor Locks will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against East Windsor at 6:00 p.m. East Windsor has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. East Granby does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
