Baseball Recap: Stoutland Comes Up Short

Stoutland has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.81 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 14-1 to the Licking Wildcats. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Stoutland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Morrow, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and one double. That home run marked the first that Morrow has launched this season.

Stoutland's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Licking, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
