Baseball Recap: Leedey Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Mooreland last Friday, Leedey came back down to earth. The Leedey Bison lost 10-4 to the Laverne Tigers on Tuesday. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2017.

Leedey saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Janne Thorroe, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Leedey's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Leedey will head out to face off against Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laverne, they will host Beaver at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will give Laverne their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
