Baseball Recap: Hoover Vikings vs. Washington Tigers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hoover walked away with it. They never let the Washington Tigers get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Hoover got a great performance from Evan Fuller as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Fuller has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Danny Holihan was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Ryan Wilkinson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Hoover kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
