Chino has gone a perfect 5-0 against Walnut recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cowboys will venture away from home to challenge the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Chino will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Chino is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Covina on Friday as they made off with a 49-27 win. The Cowboys haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Chino's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Markell Monroe led the charge by picking up 183 receiving yards and three TDs. Monroe was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 62 yards. Nathan Bull was another key back, rushing for 159 yards and one score while picking up 8.8 yards per carry.

Meanwhile, Walnut played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 30-7 to Diamond Bar. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Brahmas recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Chino's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Walnut, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Everything came up roses for Chino against Walnut in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 54-24 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cowboys since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
