Volleyball Recap: Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado Starts off Right with Win over Poudre Community Academy

Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Poudre Community Academy Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. The Archers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-11, 25-9.

Poudre Community Academy's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

After both having extra time off, Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado and Nederland will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Poudre Community Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Denver Academy at 7:00 p.m. on September 9.
