Volleyball Recap: Mayo Takes a Loss

Mayo had lost seven straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 6-18 to make it eight. They came up short against the Austin Packers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered since September 25th.

As for Austin, the win got them back to even at 13-13. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Austin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Walsh, who had 20 digs. That's the most digs Walsh has posted over her last seven contests. Lexi Brede was another key player, getting 14 digs.

As of now, neither Mayo nor Austin have any future games scheduled.
