Softball Recap: Weaver Takes a Loss

Weaver fell victim to Hokes Bluff and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Hokes Bluff Eagles. The Bearcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Weaver now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hokes Bluff, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Weaver and Hokes Bluff will both be playing Central of Clay County the next time they take the field. Weaver will host Central of Clay County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Hokes Bluff will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
