Baseball Recap: Central Hinds Academy Wins Going Away Against Clinton Christian Academy

Central Hinds Academy got themselves on the board against Clinton Christian Academy on Friday, but Clinton Christian Academy never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 16-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Zack Moak looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Matthew Fletcher was a standout: he went a perfect 1-for-1 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Walker Bradford, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.

Central Hinds Academy picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 6-11. As for Clinton Christian Academy, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
