Baseball Recap: Norview Comes Up Short

Norview came into this matchup off a tough 20-run defeat on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Arcadia Firebirds by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. The Pilots just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Norview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamil Moreta, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Norview now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Arcadia, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norview will take on Ocean Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arcadia, they will face off against Northampton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Firebirds are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
