Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Preston Huynh and Rhys Anderson Lead Rosemead to Victory

Rosemead extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Edgewood. They walked away with a 61-53 victory over the Edgewood Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2015.

Rosemead was led to victory by Rhys Anderson and Preston Huynh. Anderson posted 25 points, while Huynh put up 17 points. The contest was Anderson's third in a row with at least 17 points.

Rosemead pushed their record up to 15-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Edgewood, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-17.

Rosemead didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-33 victory against South El Monte on the 21st. Edgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
