Volleyball Recap: Lake Oswego Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lake Oswego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tualatin Timberwolves. The Lakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Timberwolves earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Lake Oswego actually scored more points across those five sets (101-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-19, 18-25, 25-19, 15-13.

Lake Oswego's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Tualatin, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lake Oswego will face off against rival Tigard at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tualatin is set to square off against their familiar foe West Linn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
