Basketball Game Preview: Boonsboro Warriors vs. Walkersville Lions

Boonsboro is 1-9 against Walkersville since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Boonsboro Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Walkersville Lions at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Boonsboro was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 61-60 to Smithsburg. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Walkersville is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Boonsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
