Soccer Game Preview: Godwin Heights vs. Kelloggsville

Godwin Heights is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Kelloggsville a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Godwin Heights Wolverines will welcome the Kelloggsville Rockets at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Godwin Heights fell victim to NorthPointe Christian and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Godwin Heights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 394th, while NorthPointe Christian are ranked 163rd).

Meanwhile, Kelloggsville also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 9-0 to Hopkins on Wednesday.

Kelloggsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Godwin Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
