Football Recap: Northfield Takes a Loss

Northfield and Southwood faced off in a cross-town battle on Friday. The game between the Norsemen and the Knights didn't end well, with the Norsemen falling 27-12. The loss leaves the Norsemen still looking for their first win of the season.

Despite the defeat, Northfield saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Briggs Baker picked up 65 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 44 yards.

Maddox Marshall was a one-man wrecking crew For Southwood. as he rushed for 137 yards and three TDs, and also threw for 121 yards and one touchdown.

Northfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Southwood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
