Basketball Game Preview: Liguori Academy Falcons vs. Life Center Academy Warriors

The Liguori Academy Falcons will take on the Life Center Academy Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liguori Academy will be strutting in after a win while Life Center Academy will be coming in after a loss.

If Liguori Academy beats Life Center Academy with 54 points on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Liguori Academy slipped by Solebury 54-53 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by just one point.

Meanwhile, Life Center Academy ended up a good deal behind Solebury on Friday and lost 80-66.

Liguori Academy will have to contain Gardy Etienne as he made an impact in Life Center Academy's last game. He dropped a double-double on 30 points and 17 rebounds. The game was Etienne's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Stokes, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 13 points and six boards.

Even though they lost, Life Center Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Life Center Academy dropped their record down to 9-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Liguori Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

Liguori Academy was taken down by Life Center Academy 77-34 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Life Center Academy's Rasheem Yon, who went 10 for 17 en route to 24 points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds.
