Football Recap: Terre Haute North Vigo Falls Despite Big Games from Adriana Dominguez and Ruthee Lubbehusen

The Terre Haute North Vigo Patriots were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 36-32 to the BELIEVE Circle City Cyclones. The Patriots were up 26-6 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Terre Haute North Vigo's loss came despite strong showings from Ruthee Lubbehusen and Adriana Dominguez. Lubbehusen picked up 150 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Dominguez threw for 285 yards and five TDs while completing 81.5% of her passes.

Terre Haute North Vigo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kendelle Barnett and Salidat Orozalieva.

This is the second loss in a row for Terre Haute North Vigo and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
