Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Legacy Christian Academy). They put the hurt on the Bishop Lynch Friars with a sharp 26-2 win on Monday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Blair Ehmer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her six plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, Legacy Christian Academy let Lynlee Kennedy and Mallary Renner run wild. Kennedy went 3-for-5 with two triples, five RBI, and three runs, while Renner went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Those four runs gave Renner a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elli Johnson, who went 2-for-5 with three runs and four RBI.

Legacy Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .544. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop Lynch only posted an OBP of .323.

Legacy Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. Bishop Lynch is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
