Basketball Recap: Von Steuben Comes Up Short

The matchup between Von Steuben and Loyola Academy on Wednesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Von Steuben Panthers were dealt a 69-36 loss at the hands of the Loyola Academy Ramblers. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Ramblers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Von Steuben's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Loyola Academy, they pushed their record up to 24-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

As of now, neither Von Steuben nor Loyola Academy have any future games scheduled.
