Sherman Oaks CES waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

While Sherman Oaks CES won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 26-24.

Sherman Oaks CES' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sherman Oaks CES will head out to face off against Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Sherman Oaks CES surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, they will venture away from home to square off against Magnolia Science Academy Reseda at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
