Fans got a thrill when Blaine Wycoff and Thorin Wang connected against Pueblo Centennial. The connection was good for 67 yards, the longest such play in 4A Foothills this season.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Pueblo South beat Cheyenne Mountain 43-3. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.

Tyler Templeton was a passing and rushing force as Canon City beat Widefield.

Wycoff threw for 179 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Josh Jarboe made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Indians lost to Pueblo South. The 6-foot-3 defensive lineman recorded 1 fumble.

Anthony Wentzel was the best wideout in the league this week as the Gladiators lost to the Tigers. Wentzel racked up 2 receptions for 93 yards.

5-foot-11 quarterback Nathan Spinuzzi of Ryan Goddard's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,918. He has also thrown 14 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Logun Javernick. The Canon City star has 53 catches for 745 yards.

In 170 carries Templeton has accumulated 971 yard this year.

Accruing a total of 13 touchdowns this year, Logan Nethercot has thrown for 1,812 yards with 4 interceptions.

The Colts were able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Cheyenne Mountain. Pueblo South came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
