Basketball Recap: Daingerfield Comes Up Short

Daingerfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 51-39 to the Chapel Hill Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-32 two weeks ago.

Daingerfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Chapel Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Daingerfield will challenge rival Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chapel Hill is set to face off against their familiar foe Hughes Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
