Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland lost against El Camino Real back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cavaliers came up short against the Royals, falling 3-0.

Cleveland was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-18.

Cleveland has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for El Camino Real, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-13 record this season.

Cleveland and El Camino Real will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Cavaliers see the court they'll take on Chatsworth at 3:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for El Camino Real, their break will end when they face Birmingham at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
