Angola won the last time they faced Fremont, and things went their way on Friday too. The Angola Hornets breezed by the Fremont Eagles on the road to the tune of 38-6.

A big part of the win came down to the chemistry between Hawk Hasselman and his top target Korbin Roan. Hasselman rushed for 196 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry while Roan rushed for 205 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. The dominant performance gave Roan a new career-high in rushing yards. Angola also got a significant boost from Ty Maggart, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 99 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Angola's defense and their three sacks. Andrew Morvilius was especially locked on to Fremont's QB and sacked him twice.

Angola's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Fremont, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Angola will take on West Noble on Friday. West Noble will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Angola surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fremont, they will face off against Park Tudor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
