Baseball Recap: Keene Comes Up Short

Keene managed to slip by Trinity Leadership the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chargers came up short against the Tigers on Tuesday, falling 12-2.

Bryan Medina made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Keene's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-13. As for Trinity Leadership, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-12.

While Keene had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
