Recap: Spring Hill Raiders vs. Lincoln County Falcons

The Spring Hill Raiders struggled with threes on Tuesday (the Lincoln County Falcons had five more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Spring Hill took a serious blow against Lincoln County, falling 71-32. Spring Hill has not had much luck with Lincoln County recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Spring Hill saw an underclassman step up: Meme Goodman scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. Goodman is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last nine games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeycelyn Brashear, who scored four points along with 13 rebounds and four blocks.

Lincoln County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Abby Bryan led the charge by scoring 17 points along with four steals. Bryan is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last six games she's played. Molly Brown was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

Spring Hill has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Lincoln County, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Shelbyville Central the next time they take the court. Spring Hill will host Shelbyville Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Lincoln County will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
