Basketball Recap: Eli Wilson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mitchell over Nature Coast Tech

Mitchell lost against Nature Coast Tech back in November of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mitchell Mustangs took a 63-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nature Coast Tech Sharks.

Mitchell lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Eli Wilson, who posted 18 points and three steals. Wilson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Christopher Stoddart was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Nature Coast Tech, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Mitchell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 103-67 win against Largo on the 2nd. As for Nature Coast Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-41 defeat against Sickles on the 2nd.
