The East Gaston Warriors will challenge the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Gaston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.

While East Gaston's victory against Burns wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. East Gaston haven't had any issues with Burns recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

East Gaston's one-goal win came courtesy of Alexa Cloninger, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Cherryville on Thursday. They blew past the Ironmen 9-0. The result was nothing new for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, who have now won four contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for East Gaston, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.
