Hilliard Darby is 8-2 against Thomas Worthington since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Panthers will head out to face off against the CARDINALS at 5:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Thomas Worthington will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Hilliard Darby extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Panthers came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against Olentangy. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Grayson Ranft was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Brock Jackson, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Thomas Worthington sidestepped Marysville for a 4-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the CARDINALS.

Thomas Worthington now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Hilliard Darby, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Hilliard Darby couldn't quite finish off Thomas Worthington when the teams last played back in May of 2024 and fell 7-5. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
