Basketball Game Preview: Niceville Eagles vs. Pace Patriots

Niceville and Pace are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Niceville Eagles will welcome the Pace Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Niceville is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Last Friday, Niceville strolled past Milton with points to spare, taking the game 46-32.

Carson Fayard was her usual excellent self, putting up 13 points and eight steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriella Diaz, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Pace rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 56-45.

Niceville pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for Pace, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

Niceville strolled past Pace in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 50-35. Will Niceville repeat their success, or does Pace have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
