League recap: Baker races to league-leading run for Dubois

Sterling Baker of Dubois ran for the longest rushing play in 6-Man West (6 Man) this season against Meeteetse last week. Baker's team fell to the Longhorns as he sprinted for 65 yards on the play and finished with 356 in all.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Meeteetse beat Dubois 52-45. The victory was the fourth in a row for Zeb Hagen's team.

Dubois' offense cannot be tamed this season and the Rams feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Baker has thrown for 666 yards this season, while Rowan Hawk has 13 catches for 401 yards. Baker also leads the league in rushing with 786 yards.

The most important game in 6-Man West (6 Man) this week will be the match up between Ten Sleep and David Trembly's team. The Pioneers enters the contest ranked 12th in the state, while the Rams ranks second.

The Longhorns made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 367 from 458. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 52-45 victory over Dubois last week.
