Softball Recap: Huntington Takes a Loss

Huntington lost against South Charleston two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Highlanders came up short against the Black Eagles, falling 13-3. The Highlanders' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Huntington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Milah Miller, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Huntington's record is now 3-18. As for South Charleston, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntington will venture away from home to challenge Tug Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Charleston, they will head out to take on Capital at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
