Softball Recap: Carroll County Comes Up Short

Carroll County was the 12-2 winner over Floyd County when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers lost 9-2 to the Buffaloes on Tuesday.

Carroll County dropped their record down to 4-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Floyd County, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carroll County will face off against Galax at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Floyd County, they will challenge Glenvar at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
