Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Horton). Everything went their way against the Atchison County Tigers on Monday as they made off with a 28-15 win. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Horton's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Atchison County, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horton will face off against McLouth at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Atchison County, they will challenge Jackson Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
