Volleyball Recap: Crest Comes Up Short

Crest was the 2-0 winner over Yates Center when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers fell 2-0 to the Wildcats on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19.

Crest's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-6. As for Yates Center, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Yates Center will square off against Baxter Springs on Saturday. Crest will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' game: after the Wildcats face off against Field Kindley, they'll take on Crest again on Saturday.
