Baseball Recap: Durham Academy Comes Up Short

Durham Academy lost against Ravenscroft on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cavaliers came up short against the Ravens, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Cavaliers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Amare Burrus made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Durham Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Ravenscroft, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Durham Academy is taking a road trip to take on Kerr-Vance Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ravenscroft, they will be playing at home against Raleigh HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
