Soccer Game Preview: Arcadia vs. Tabb

The Arcadia Firebirds will venture away from home to challenge the Tabb Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Arcadia is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Northampton on Monday. The Firebirds and the Yellowjackets finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Tabb hadn't done well against Lafayette recently (they were 0-8-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 7-4 margin over the Rams. Considering Tabb have won ten matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tabb is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-1-1 record this season. With that draw, Arcadia's record moves to 3-11-1.

Arcadia suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Tabb when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Firebirds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
