Recap: Loranger Wolves vs. Springfield Bulldogs
The Loranger Wolves can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 59-50 win over Springfield. The victory was just what Loranger needed coming off of a 68-30 defeat in their prior contest.
Springfield's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dequane Davis, who scored 12 points along with six steals. Davis continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Rowen Harris was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Loranger's win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8. As for Springfield, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Loranger will head out on the road to face off against Lakeshore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeshore is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Springfield, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against French Settlement at 7:30 p.m.
