Soccer Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Ridgeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Abingdon Falcons, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Abingdon this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in April.

Ridgeview's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Abingdon, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Ridgeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Abingdon, they will face off against Gate City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
